It has happened again! All of the chairs quit in Mrs. Darder's second grade class earlier this week. The students did a fantastic job writing opinion essays about how important chairs are in the classroom. Their essays were terrific and they had a blast learning without their chairs for the morning.

The Class of 2026 will host a Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 in the LMCS Cafeteria. Breakfast will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice and coffee. There will be candy canes, treats and pictures with Santa and Rudolph. The breakfast is open to all. The cost is $10 per person, Children 3 and younger may attend for free. Tickets are required. Flyers have been sent home with Livingston Manor Elementary School students. To get tickets, see a member of the Class of 2026 or email class advisor Jaime Snow at jaime.snow@lmcs.us.

Livingston Manor Library will conclude its Sensory Play Series for children and their families for the season with a program starting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. The Sensory Play Series targets neurodiverse children ages 3-10 and their families and seeks to provide children with an experience that is flexible and responsive to their natural play style. It is inclusive of the whole family, offering caregivers tools and games they can play at home to further connect with their child. Each month models sensory play, focusing on a different sense i.e. sight, sound, touch, smell, taste and movement/balance led by artist and producer Jess Kaufman. The topic of the November program is movement. There will be musical accompaniment by flutist Joe Bergstein.
