Livingston Manor FFA kicked off FFA Week on Tuesday with FFA Alumni Day, Wednesday, Feb. 19, will be Western Wednesday, where all Wildcats are encouraged to wear their best western clothes. Thursday, Feb. 20, will be National Give FFA Day, where students and staff can support the National FFA by wearing red, white and blue for the national day of giving to FFA. Our FFA chapter is making a donation to the New York FFA to help reach the state goal. For more information, see giveffaday.ffa.org. The week will conclude with National Blue Day, where all are asked to wear FFA official colors, national blue and corn gold. There will also be line dancing in all PE classes and a coloring contest in the Elementary School.
The LMCS Class of 2027 brought the Billy Martin’s Cole All Star Circus to Livingston Manor on Friday and what great fun it was!
The LM-R Board of Education election is scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Livingston Manor gym. A snow date of Feb. 21 has been set. Absentee ballot application must be received by Feb. 19, with completed ballots due by 5 p.m. on the day of the vote. Due to predicted inclement weather for the afternoon of February 15, 2025, the Audra Spath Varsity Girls Basketball Tournament consolation and championship games will be adjusted for an early time.
The consolation and championship games will now be played on Saturday, February 15th, at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. respectively.

Additional Information:
- All games will take place at Livingston Manor Central School District, located at 19 School St., Livingston Manor.
- Donations will be accepted at the door for the scholarship fund created in honor of Audra Sipple Spath, a beloved elementary school teacher at Livingston Manor who passed away in 2022.
Please note that the 3rd-6th grade youth basketball games, originally set for February 15th, have been moved to February 22nd. Times and location will remain the same.

This morning (2/14), a fire alarm was activated in the cafeteria kitchen prior to the start of the school day. While there was a brief delay to student entry, upon inspection the fire chief immediately allowed for students and staff to return to the building.
Please also be reminded that school will dismiss at 11:30 as part of our 1/2 day schedule today.

The Class of 2027 is brining the Circus to town this Friday, February 14th @ 6:30pm. Advance tickets are on sale with any sophomore or at the attendance office.
Each advance adult ticket is $15.00 and includes up to two children 12 and under free. Students 13 and up are $5.00. Admission at the door will cost more. Get your tickets soon!!

Due to the upcoming merger of Livingston Manor Central School and Roscoe Central School, we will hold our PreK registration for the merged district later than usual. This will permit the newly merged district’s Board of Education to be established and some decisions to be made prior to the PreK registration day. Therefore, at this time, we are doing a canvas to get a tentative list of children’s names, dates of birth, and parent contact info established. This will allow us to plan appropriately and reach out to the families more easily when we have more detailed information on PreK registration.
