Mrs. Nichols summer school class read the StoryWorks Magazine Play "Chicken Little" during the Summer Enrichment Program. The students were very excited to perform a Dramatic Readers' Theater for several other elementary classes.

Students at the Summer Enrichment Program took another trip to Gael Roots Community Farm earlier this week. Students in grades pre-k to 2 harvested milky oats, helped build a boarder around one of the farm's apple trees., and visited with Isla the Scottish Highland cow, and got to pet the sheep.
Pre-K to second grade students enjoyed ice cream at Evelyn’s Ice Stand, a hike, blueberry picking, a visit from Althaea the lamb, and a picnic at Gael Roots Community Farm on Thursday during their weekly field trip at the summer enrichment program.

Students in the summer program enjoyed learning the scientific method by seeing what paper towel brand absorbs the most water earlier this week. They then made tie dye T-shirts.
As part of the summer enrichment program, students in pre-K through sixth grades take a field trip each Thursday. Last week, students were able to enjoy the water at Lake Superior in Bethel.

Students in pre-kindergarten through third grade in the Summer Enrichment Program visited Gael Roots Community Farm on Cattail Road on July 11 and learned about gardening, made some tea with mint and St John's wort, ran around a bit and had fun.
Livingston Manor senior Sarah Evans is sponsoring a Livingston Manor Community Blood Drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 28. The event will be hosted by the Livingston Manor Fire House, at 93 Main St. in Livingston Manor, and will be held in the meeting room. Those who attend will get a Shark Week shirt from Discovery, while supplies last. Livingston Manor Central School Graduation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, in the gymnasium. Maggi Fitzpatrick, a 2012 graduate of LMCS, will be the graduation speaker. She earned her bachelor's degree in clinical exercise science from Ithaca College. She coached the girls varsity basketball and soccer teams this year and is owner and CEO of Fitzpatrick Consulting Group, Inc. and Calo Fitness, LLC.
