
Our kindergarten students celebrated Thanksgiving by cooking and enjoying a delicious feast! They prepared cranberry sauce, butter, stuffing, breaded chicken tenders, and apple pie cups for dessert. It was a fun and memorable experience as everyone worked together to prepare the food and enjoy their meal.

Once again, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is hosting a school spirit night for 'Peace, Love and Lights.' The event will take place Dec. 2 and will give families an opportunity to walk through the 1.7 mile light display. Tickets are $12 for those 12 and older, and free for those younger than 12. Those who bring an unwrapped toy for donation will be admitted free. LMCS families are invited to join together at 5:30 p.m. at the start of the path to show school spirit and walk together. his week, the fifth graders conducted a weathering, erosion and deposition experiment. Students used mason jars and sugar cubes to represent what happens to Earth’s surfaces in the wind.





It has happened again! All of the chairs quit in Mrs. Darder's second grade class earlier this week. The students did a fantastic job writing opinion essays about how important chairs are in the classroom. Their essays were terrific and they had a blast learning without their chairs for the morning.

The Class of 2026 will host a Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 in the LMCS Cafeteria.
Breakfast will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice and coffee.
There will be candy canes, treats and pictures with Santa and Rudolph. The breakfast is open to all.
The cost is $10 per person, Children 3 and younger may attend for free.

Livingston Manor Library will conclude its Sensory Play Series for children and their families for the season with a program starting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. The Sensory Play Series targets neurodiverse children ages 3-10 and their families and seeks to provide children with an experience that is flexible and responsive to their natural play style. It is inclusive of the whole family, offering caregivers tools and games they can play at home to further connect with their child. Each month models sensory play, focusing on a different sense i.e. sight, sound, touch, smell, taste and movement/balance led by artist and producer Jess Kaufman. The topic of the November program is movement. There will be musical accompaniment by flutist Joe Bergstein. Livingston Manor honored its veterans on Friday with a breakfast and assembly. After the assembly students were able to meet with individual veterans in breakout sessions to hear their stories. We thank all veterans for their service.

Please ensure your child's physical is up-to-date before the start of the season.
Additionally, Varsity and Junior Varsity winter practices begin on Monday, Nov. 18. Modified winter sports practices for all teams will commence Monday, Nov. 25.
