Please be advised that there will be no after school program Wednesday, May 22nd. Again, the after school program on Wednesday, May 22nd has been canceled. Hello Wildcats! We are excited to announce that the academic awards breakfast for students in grades 9-12 who are receiving awards will commence promptly at 8:30 am on Wednesday, May 22nd.
Additionally, we kindly remind all families that LMCS will be closed on the following dates for the Memorial Day break: May 23rd, May 24th, and May 27th.

Sullivan BOCES will offer a virtual information session for families and students with disabilities about support outside of and beyond school including post-graduation. Building Bridges Community Resources will be offered starting at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 11.
Discussion topics will include parent supports, available resources, community agencies and student supports.

Livingston Manor's choral and band students put on two terrific concert earlier this week. Good job to Mrs. Maraj, Mr. Smith and all of the students involved.
LMCS provided bagels, muffins, and coffee in memory of fallen officers on May 15 in the LMCS cafeteria. The event was kicked off by speeches from Middle/High School Principal Adam Larson and Elementary Principal Christopher Hubert, thanking those who were present for their service and commemorating those who were no longer with us but served to protect our community. Among those in attendance were three LMCS grads: LMCS graduates. Left to right- Trooper Brandon Smith (LMCS Class of 2011), Detective Sergeant Jake Gorr (LMCS Class of 1990), and Deputy Roy Rogers (LMCS Class of 2002).
Good Evening Wildcats! The Class of 2026 is hosting a Sneaker Night tomorrow, Friday, May 17th, for grades Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade. Lace up and get ready for some fun! Here's the schedule: Pre-Kindergarten to 1st grade: 3:00 PM - 4:15 PM, 2nd & 3rd grade: 4:30 PM - 5:45 PM, 4th to 6th grade: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Admission is only $6.00 and no concessions money will be needed. We hope to see you there!
In recognition of their outstanding efforts and academic achievements, more than two dozen Livingston Manor students in seventh through 12th grades, joined by students from Roscoe Central School, were invited to the Superintendent's Honors Trip to Urban Air in Middletown on Monday, May 13. While there, students were able to take part in a variety of activities.

Livingston Manor Varsity Softball, along with Eldred Softball, hosted a drive to support the Sullivan County SPCA animal shelter during a game on May 8. Various items including pet food, paper towels, cleaning supplies and towels, were donated by were donated by coaches, athletes, spectators and families.

Hello Wildcats! In the coming week, LMCS will be hosting the annual spring concerts. The Band concert, grades 5-12, will be Tuesday, May 14th at 6:30pm. The Choral concert, grades 3-12, will be Wednesday May 15th at 6:30pm. Students, please arrive in your Sunday Best attire at 6:00pm to prepare for the performances. All community members are welcome! The concerts will feature a variety of jazz, pop, classical, and world music! The students are excited to perform and we hope to see you there!
The Livingston Manor Central School Class of 2025 will host a take out only chicken barbecue from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the MCS cafeteria. Dinner includes a half chicken, baked potato, corn on the cob, coleslaw or macaroni salad, brownie and a bottle of water. Tickets cost $15 and are available through any class member, by emailing bonnie.hoag@lmcs.us or carmen.staudt@lmcs.us, or through the form sent home with all pre-k through sixth grade students.

Livingston Manor will be operating on a half day schedule on Friday, May 10th, 2024 due to staff professional development. Students will be dismissing at 11:30 AM. Reminder that we are also hosting the LMCS - RCS Bike a thon on Saturday, May 11th, 10-11:30 AM on our track facility. This event is for grades 1st through 8th grade to support Sullivan County Ride 2 Survive. Go Wildcats!
Livingston Manor Interact Club is holding a personal hygiene drive this month. The month of May is designated as “Youth Service Month,” and Interact Rotary members are working work to keep people healthy and strengthen communities through projects that help people get access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene.
This months service project focus is hygiene using the slogan "Be clean. Be healthy."
The club is seek donations of body soap, hair care products, toothbrushes, toothpaste (for adults and children) floss, mouthwash, feminine hygiene products, razors, shaving cream and deodorant. Items may be Items can be dropped off at school or sent in with students, or can be brought the night of band and chorus concerts.
The Livingston Manor Teacher Association will host a time to meet and greet the
candidates running for the LMCS Board of Education.
The event will follow the public hearing on the budget, which will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 8. The meet and greet is intended to help the community get to know each of the people running for the two LMCS Board of Education seats up for election this year. Refreshments will be served.
Eighteen LMCS students taking photography and/or drawing and painting 1, 2, and 3 recently created designs promoting the 95th Annual Sullivan County Volunteer Firefighters Association Parade. They were submitted to the parade committee for a contest in which the first place winner would receive $100 and be featured in the parade journal. Second place would be awarded $75 and third place, $50. The winner was Kyle Hendrickson, whose design, pictured here, will adorn the cover. Second place was awarded to Ash Matos with third place going to Aiden Kirchner. The rest of the posters can be seen on our Facebook page.
