
Good morning Wildcats! Just a reminder today, Wednesday, March 15th LMCS will be utilizing a “Remote Snow Day ''. Beginning at 8 a.m. today the Town of Rockland water department will be shutting off the water to all homes and businesses on the school side of the Willowemoc creek for several hours to make some necessary repairs to a leaking water main. Information about the use of “Remote Snow Days” and what remote instruction will look like for the various grade levels was sent home with students in addition to being posted on the school’s website and Facebook Page. The remote day for students in grades PreK-6 will be a Remote Snow Day #1. The Middle and High School the remote day will fall on a rotation day 6. Thank you and have a great day.

Livingston Manor/Roscoe Cal Ripken Baseball and Softball will host the last in-person signup from 4 to 6 p.m. March 15 at the Roscoe Diner. The league is open to children ages 4 to 12. For more information or to sign up if you can't make the in-person signup, email lmrcalripken@gmail.com. The registration deadline to sign up is tomorrow, March 15.

Note: If there is a snow day on Tuesday, March 14, the remote day will fall on a rotation day 6, if there is no snow day on Tuesday, the remote day will fall on a rotation day 1.

Good evening LMCS! We have some important information to share with you. Next Wednesday, March 15th LMCS will be utilizing a “Remote Snow Day ''. Beginning at 8am on the 15th the Town of Rockland water department will be shutting off the water to all homes and businesses on the school side of the Willowemoc creek for several hours to make some necessary repairs to a leaking water main.
Information about the use of “Remote Snow Days” and what remote instruction will look like for the various grade levels was sent home with all students in grades PK through 6th this afternoon. This same information was posted to the district website for parents and the students in grades 7-12.
While we still have one emergency closing day remaining, the weather forecast for Monday & Tuesday doesn’t look great so information, devices and educational materials were sent home with students today.
Regardless of what happens on Monday & Tuesday with the weather, Wednesday, March 15th will be a Remote Snow Day.

Livingston Manor Central School's Interact Club will host the Livingston Manor Community Blood Drive in the new gym at Livingston Manor Central School from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 29. Those who donate in March will get a $10 Visa Prepaid Card by email and be entered in a chance to win one of five $3,000 Visa Prepaid Card. Students who are 16 must bring a signed Red Cross permission slip to be able to donate. To make an appointment, call 800-Red Cross or visit www.redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Good evening parents of juniors and seniors. Were you aware that Livingston Manor through a variety of local and regional scholarships awarded over $300,000 to graduates of the class of 2022? This does not include need based aid given due to family income. Want to know how to access these funds to help pay for your student's college?
Please join LMCS and the PTSA on Wednesday, March 8 at 6:30 PM in the New Gym to learn about the various forms of aid available to students. Senior parents who have yet to complete the FAFSA, please bring your 2021 state and federal tax returns and we will complete the FAFSA after the informational session. Livingston Manor Interact/Rotary Club will host a free Easter egg hunt at Rotary Park starting at 10 a.m. March 25.
The hunt will be for toddlers through children in sixth grade, with the younger children going first. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will also be available. It will take place rain or shine at the park at 55 Pleasant St. Children are encouraged to bring a bucket or pail to gather up eggs. Those who plan to attend are asked to let Ms. Snow know by March 17 by returning the slip sent home or by email the child's name and grade to jaime.snow@lmcs.us
