On Tuesday, May 17, Livingston Manor voters will go to the polls to vote on the school budget and school board candidates. The polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the school's gymnasium. For details on the proposed budget, visit https://tinyurl.com/lmcsbudget23 .

But there will be more to do than just voting.

The Elementary Spring Concert, featuring students in third through sixth grades, will be in the old gymnasium starting at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

The Class of 2024 is hosting a takeout chicken barbecue from 3 to 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets are required and may be obtained by contacting a member of the class or by calling class adviser Ms. Finkle at 845-439-4400, ext. 1207.

In the hallways across from the cafeteria will be Livingston Manor's in-house art show.

Voters will also be offered the opportunity to take a survey regarding the proposed merger between Livingston Manor and Roscoe.

"We hope all district residents will let their voices be heard by voting on the school budget and filling out the survey," Superintendent John Evans said. "And after they are done exercising their right to vote, we hope they'll stay for the concert, check out our students' art, and enjoy some barbecue chicken to support the sophomore class."
