Livingston Manor Central School recently announced its valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2025

Michael Carlsen, son of Brian and Danielle Carlsen is valedictorian. Michael, whose overall average is a 97.49% graduated a year early. In doing so, he continued his dedication to his studies as a member of the National Honor Society and consistently has been on the High Honor Roll as well as Superintendent’s List throughout his high school career. Michael’s extracurricular endeavors include baseball, football and basketball. Additionally, Michael works for Mountain Top Landscaping as well as Triple M Excavation & Landscaping. He enjoys working, hunting, fishing, riding his dirt bike and hanging out with his friends and family. Michael’s future plans are to pursue an electrical career as a lineman.

Joshua Hendrickson, son of Nancy and Matt Hendrickson, is the salutatorian. Josh, whose overall average is a 94.63%, is a member of the National Honor Society, serves as the Class of 2025’s treasurer, and has been named to the Superintendent’s List multiple times. Additionally, Josh has received Outstanding Achievement Awards in calculus and technology classes. Josh’s extracurricular commitments include varsity baseball, basketball and football. He has received a multitude of athletic-related awards, including OCIAA Scholar Athlete, school coaches choice and sportsmanship awards. Josh works part time at Peck’s Market in Livingston Manor in addition to summer work in adaptive physical education at the Center for Discovery. He enjoys hunting, fishing, video games and watching baseball. Josh thanks his family and teachers for pushing him to his limits to make him the best he could possibly be! After graduation, he plans to attend the University at Buffalo for mechanical engineering.
