The Livingston Manor Central School serves as the center of the community and adjoining hamlets. Surrounded by picturesque mountains, magnificent streams, and breath-taking views, though home to many, the region welcomes countless visitors and outdoor enthusiasts on a seasonal basis who come to the mountains for fresh air and healthful enjoyment.
Great pride exists among our graduates and students. The historic school building, which first opened in 1939, stands as a fortress and treasured jewel of the community. Every day, 500 students continue this tradition, enter the front doors to our beautiful building, and take one step closer to a successful future. LMCS is a PreK-12 building with the Elementary School on the first floor and Middle/High School on the second. Students enjoy a well-rounded educational experience at LMCS with a focus on academics, athletics, and many extra-curricular and enrichment activities.
