Livingston Manor CSD Reopening plan
The New York Education Department, as our oversight agency, has provided school districts a guide to aid districts and schools as they advance and refine their plans for the September opening. The information and resources provided in this guide are based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Please take some time to review the Health and Safety Guide for the 2021-2022 School Year.
When the 2021-2022 school year begins, school will look much like it did when the last school year ended in June of 2021. We will continue to maintain a safe environment while providing as much normalcy as possible. It is our number one goal to keep students and staff safe and physically present in school.
As in the past, the district is relying on our parents to ensure children are not experiencing signs/symptoms of COVID-19 before boarding a school bus or leaving home.
We ask for your continued support and cooperation in following the guidelines detailed in the school opening plan. Together, we are confident we can make the 2021-22 school year a success.
The Reopening Plan is a live document and can change during this fluid situation. If changes are being made to the document, it might not be accessible at times. If you try and reach the file and it is down, please try back a short time later.
